Family Martial Arts

It is such a blessing that we have found the Family Martial Arts Center. The pics here are of Ethan and Hannah testing for their next belt level. The owner and instructor of the center is a wonderful Christian man who instructs from the Bible and shares with the students the love of Christ. God has blessed us greatly. Bless you Master Troy Hobelman for the ministry you provide to the children/adults of this community.

Easter, 2009 Morning

Christ is Risen.....................we had a joyous Easter morning even though it was rainy outside. Ethan and Noah were darling dressed alike and Hannah was beautiful in her Easter dress. (I didn't get a picture of her, though.)

We had enough chocolate for the entire neighborhood...............yummy!!

Easter Egg Coloring with Granny

We had a wonderful time coloring eggs with Granny Robberson. I didn't boil the eggs long enough and when a couple of them got dropped, they were still runny............yuck............oh well, we had fun anyway!!

Protection from God

This April Sarah was in a car accident, she lost control and ended up in a ditch of very dry grass. Consequently, the dry grass caught on fire and the car burned. She walked away without injury, only cinged hair. Praise the Lord for his mighty protection. He has great things planned for our girl, we just know!!!!

Community Easter Egg Hunt

Lebo has a community-wide egg hunt. Hannah was bummed because she has gotten too old to participate.....................It was cold, but fun!

Great Wolf Memories..............Hannah's Confirmation at Church

Hannah went through bible instruction classes at the Lebo UMC and was confirmed into the church. We were very proud of her hard work at learning God's word.

The entire resort was set up like a lodge, even the restaurants. You felt like you were really in a tent while eating.

Swimming fun with Dad and Noah.

Hannah went to the kids "Scoops Spa" and had a facial and her nails done. Samantha, Hal and I all had fun getting massages.

The elephant display fascinated Noah...........Samantha took him on a tour of all the animal displays.

March, 2009---Spring Break

We went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City for a night over spring break. We had a great time and had the pleasure of Samantha coming home from Nebraska to go with us.

Had a great time with you, Samantha!!!

(Dad and Ethan had fun with the hunting arcade game...............shoot those deer!)

Band Day in Andover

Hannah played her flute at a band day held in Andover. She did a great job and is learning to play quite well.

January 31, 2009----Birthday Celebrations

It was Sarah's and Grandpa Small's birthday..... we celebrated with cake and fun. Sarah and Aunt Mary strike a birthday pose.

Happy 18th birthday Sarah!!!

Explosion of Lasagne

When Kim and Byron were visiting, I made two huge dishes of meatball lasagna...............you know what happens when you put a pan of lasagna on a hot burner????? It EXPLODES...
we had meatballs rolling everywhere.
Thank goodness for take out pizza!!!!!!

Small Family Christmas Memories, 2008

The clan...................the boys playing with cousing Daegony, and Hannah during the gift exchange with cousin Abby.

Christmas Celebration at Grandpa and Grandma Smalls

Grandma and Grandpa have lunch with Samantha. (Sorry, Mom, I caught you with your mouth full)......Harold's brother Mike and his wife Kimala.......lots of family.............happy memories....................

More Kansas City Fun

Scott's girlfriend, Arryn Stacy, went with us to Kansas City during Christmas vacation. They all enjoyed a late night game of monopoly LATE into the night. (Arryn, Scott, Kim, Samantha)

More.........Christmas Fun

Noah really got into opening presents this year........the traditional "Risk" game ensues.......
Scott got a "leg lamp" like the one in the movie A Christmas Story. His was a smaller version though. Dad poses for the camera. Merry Christmas honey!
